DigiGov Courses is a gateway that provides access to a wide range of online training resources, related to the Digital Transformation of the Public Sector with the adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies (e.g., AI, ML, blockchain, mobile Internet, 5G, HPC, IoT, and Cloud computing) to support the development of a new generation of public services, while promoting open source, open data, and open standards. It aims at raising awareness, promoting the uptake and use of new disruptive technologies, and supporting an ecosystem, orientated to a new generation of public services and to SMEs wishing to produce innovative solutions for the public sector that respond to technology challenges.

DigiGov Courses gateway to online training material, developed by accredited partners and available on their e-learning platforms, focuses on digital transformation through the adoption of advanced technologies and promotes skills development. The list of the published training resources is to be regularly reviewed and populated with new training items.

Continuous education plays an important role in ensuring that Public Administration executives possess the necessary skills to leverage digital technologies and accelerate digital transformation. DigiGov Courses platform is based on new educational profiles that address emerging professional roles. The process of updating professional and educational profiles is ongoing, aligning with the evolving skill requirements of the digital age.

DigiGov Courses disseminates knowledge through a set of well-structured and complementary services, organized into the following pillars:

• Provision of access to selected courses tailored to the specific needs of the target audience (asynchronous learning).
• Support for the community of practice established within the hub by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices on digital innovation and transformation.
• Organization of short training seminars and events (both in-person and online) focusing on digital innovation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
• Provision of advanced university-level courses (e.g., miniMΒA) or fast-track bootcamp-type programs in emerging technologies.
• DigiGov Courses makes use of European reference frameworks and classifications for digital skills, competences, and occupations.

DigiGov Courses gateway endorses the Greek National Strategy for Digital Competencies and is supported by the National Digital Academy, i.e. the Greek MDG (Ministry of Digital Governance) asynchronous training platform, addressing the training needs of general public. The DigiGov Courses platform complements the above initiatives by specializing its training to meet the needs of the audience of GR digiGOV-innoHUB, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies and the requirements of the innovation ecosystem.
